Forest sketches

Couple of studies. I absolutely love forests - the smell, the colours, mystery and a sense of peace. Also, I find moss so magical, it's really beautiful.

With these I focused on simple line work, keeping only the most important visual information. Adding base colours under the lines and then painting roughly on top. I find this process really fun and straightforward - practicing my line work and sketches has helped a lot.
